The article investigate part of a large collection of rings found during archaeological excavations in the Perm. All artefacts are from the cultural layer of the 18th century. The introduction describes a brief history of the place of excavations with reference to old maps of city, and the general conclusions of the excavation results and the general information of the artifact complex of this archaeological site. The following is a dictionary of jewelry terms used by the authors. The artefacts under study are divided into four categories: rings with a place for insert, signet-rings, shield rings and simple rings.
