The monograph presented to the readers describes a model of a regional career guidance ecosystem for children and youth, as well as the results of an analysis of the state and systematization of career guidance systems in the municipal districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The conditions for the development of career guidance systems are identified, theoretical approaches to issues of career guidance and career development of children and youth are considered; the ecosystem approach in education and career guidance; The Russian experience of career guidance, practices of career guidance and career choice in the context of the ecosystem approach is described. A set of advanced training programs has been developed and proposed for specialists working in the field of career guidance and career development. The monograph will be of interest to specialists who develop and/or supervise the development of the state's social policy strategy in the field of career guidance and career development of children and youth. It can be used by teachers and students in the framework of disciplines that include topics on career guidance.
