Летописные сообщения о взятии Великого города 1236 и 1241 гг.: происхождение текста и возможные источники
The record about sacking the Volga Bulgaria and destruction its capital during the Mongol invasion in 1236 was reflected in Novgorodian chronicling and Vladimir-Suzdalian as well. Nevertheless, their contents differ from each other. The question about it appearance in Novgorod First Chronicle, presumed sources of this evidence and the time of composing its text has not discussed in historiography yet, while it is very vivid example for understanding in which ways and how the non-Novgorodian records appear in Novgorod First Chronicle. The record of 1241 in the Nikon Chronicle is also expected thorough examination because researches do not hesitate in its reliable information, despite the late origin of the chronicle. In the article suggests possible solutions on the issues.
