Delay Analysis of Massive Unsourced ALOHA-based Protocols with User Authentication

The number of devices transmitting any data is increasing rapidly every day, so modern wireless networks (especially sensor networks, where the number of sensors connected to one base station can be enormous) must adapt to new realities, and developers must change data transmission algorithms. In this article, we consider the problem of constructing the lower estimation of average delay in massive random access protocols with source authentication. We consistently describe the device's authentication algorithm, introduce massive random access system model, define an optimization problem of finding the minimal value of identification field size. Based on problem's solution, the lower estimation of average delay for this system is obtained by theoretical calculation.
