Декларации независимости от 8 февраля и 1 марта 1919 г. через призму ценностей и оценок

С. 22-35.

This article is focused on the analysis of the value appeals addressed to the Japanese government and the Korean nation in Declarations of Independence of February 8 and March 1 proclaimed as a part of March 1st Movement of 1919. First, I aim at explaining the nature of the illocutionary force; in particular, the illocutionary force of the value appeals. The sincerity conditions of the authors of the Declarations are different. The young authors of the Declarations of February 8 appealed to the Japanese government and the Western leaders from strength. The renown intellectuals who authored the Declarations of March 1 attempted to stage a classic of protagonist vs antagonist in a dialogue of equals. Eventually the sincerity conditions are considered the key constituent of the illocutionary force in either declaration. I also argue that values are manifested in the declarations following salient axiological strategies.
