Electromagnetic fields modeling in the beam-type microwave cavities
Numerical simulation of the electromagnetic field distribution in microwave beam-type cavity with an arbitrary number of microwave energy sources is carried out. The developed simplified calculation procedure is designed to determine the distribution of the electromagnetic field in the microwave cavity and the location of the radiation sources in order to ensure the field uniformity in the region of the heated object localization. The simulation is based on the calculation of the radiation pattern from the opening of the rectangular waveguide of the microwave energy source. Using the Huygens-Kirchhoff method the distribution of the electromagnetic field in the volume under consideration is calculated.
