Importance Providing innovative management of the housing sector has become an indispensable requirement to improve the quality and availability of housing and communal services in a information society, scientific and technological progress. Objectives The purpose of this article advocates the development of methodical bases and recommendations for the formation of innovative management to provide services in the housing sector. Tasks included the generalization of international experience and innovative management practices in the housing sector; identify management problems implementing management systems in housing sector in Russia; offer a comprehensive approach to ensure innovation management based on the specifics of the Russian government.
Conclusions and Relevance It is concluded that under the conditions of the accumulated problems of the housing sector and the urgent need for a comprehensive investment, innovative and modernization development should be carried out within the framework of strategic management, which will ensure comprehensiveness.
