Распределение пищи у внешнеполинезийских народов Папуа-Новой Гвинеи
С. 84–91.
Davletshin A.
The article analyzes the features of the social regulation of the production and food intake in enclave Polynesian societies in the eastern part of Papua New Guinea. The author considers the customs of the societies of Nukuman, Taku, and Nukeria in the distribution of food as a metaphor for social relations: men have more rights than women and children who have a kinship - more than outsiders, older - more than younger ones who encroach on someone else's food, lose their rights. Food is an important biological resource in any society, but among the Polynesians of Papua New Guinea, it is also an authority resource. The work is based on the author's field materials.

The paper is dedicated to origin and development of socio-political
terms in two Polynesian societies. Inhabitants of the westernmost Polynesian
atoll Nukuria are very different from the easternmost Polynesian island
Rapanui. It has been proposed that semantic development of particular protoPolynesian terms was partially determined by the principle of conical clan and
reorganisation of the ancestral socio-political system. ...
