Синхромодальная транспортировка в современных цепях поставок
The article examines the evolution of the intermodal freight transportation systems in terms of goods flows management.. Various definitions of synchromodal transportation are presented disclosing different aspects of this activity. The special features, potentials and the pre-conditions of the effective implementation of the synchromodal concept are analyzed to provide the maximal flexibility of transport and commodity flows management

This paper covers issues related to the reliability of information transportations process in industrial enterprises. Under virtually all-round computerization, the transition to "smart" technological solutions in industrial field, including the transportation management, in our country is associated with certain difficulties. To a great extent, this is due to the lack of mutual understanding between members of scientific-research community, IT-specialists and production workers. For instance, Russian enterprises at present have a poor understanding of how information may create value for business, and strengthen their competitive capabilities. The study of reliability of transportation process, considered in our work, has a direct influence on the production quality and the increase of efficiency on the whole. As a result, we have developed an "Autobase-Expert" analytical application, wherein the included models make it possible to evaluate the efficiency of automobile transport operations of industrial enterprises. The approbation of the application has revealed ways of further development of management decision support systems based on the architectural approach.
Logistics and supply chain management is a comparatively new scientific field which has been rapidly developing .
Apart from the criterion of total logistics costs, that is used to evaluate the efficiency of supply chains, another criterion - total satisfaction of consumer needs - is being increasingly used for the same purpose. It can be explained by the transition to such new logistics concept as the sustainability of supply chains, which is characterized not only by flexibility, rate of response, strength, adaptability, but mostly by the reliability of functioning of the logistics system's elements.
The paper presents critical analysis of the existing approaches to the formation of failure models in supply chains, the methodical approach and classification of failures for the key logistics functions (purchasing, order processing, transportation, storage, warehousing and materials handling) as well as some developed and improved failure models for a number of logistics functions and operations; there have been also given some examples of calculating the reliability indices for the elements of the supply chain.
The article is devoted to the phenomenon of intermodalism. It is demonstrated that in spite of intermodal transport systems wide variety, the worldwide experience shows the priority development of two basic models of intermodal logistic services, named «oceanic» and «continental». The prerequisites of formation and the basic conditions of the implementation of these models are examined. In the context of the conclusions obtained the provisions of the draft Transport strategy of Russian Federation for 2030 are analyzed. It is indicated that further studies are necessary to identify the proper concept of intermodal logistic service for Russian economic system.
The article analyzes the business models of combined transport, used in the transport service of continental (not including a sea) supply chains. Described are the common characteristics of business models as well as fundamental differences specific to the transport systems of the North America and Europe. Based on a comparison of structural and functional analysis the article reveales the most significant parameters of the business models of both types, as well as the conditions under which they can be sustainable. Examples of business models implementation in the North American and European practices are given and the mechanisms the final logistic product within different models are revealed.
According to various estimates global GDP is about 60-70 trillion dollars, at the same time the costs of logistics in the world accounts for 12 trillion dollars per year. These figures are comparable to costs associated with armaments, public health service and other important areas of human activity.
Consequently, the search of practical ways and development of effective mechanisms for reducing logistics costs is a major problem, the solving of which will improve efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises. Thus, the purpose of this paper is the development of methods and models for EOQ calculation in supply chains as well as development of matrix of decision-making for the design of new modified EOQ models, designed to optimize logistics costs of companies in supply chains.
