Automated synthesis of reactive controllers for software-defined networks
The publication presents the Russian translation of selected chapters from "Dissertatio de Arte Combinatoria" by G.W. Leibniz, one of his earliest works. These chapters were published separately in 1666 under the title "Disputatio Arithmetica de complexionibus" and never translated into Russian. In his introduction the translator analyses the main themes of the "Dissertation" in there connection to the projects of universal science developed by R. Lull, E. Weigel, J. Biesterfeld and in the context of metaphysical and logical researches of Leibniz.
The book is devoted to one of the most prominent American writers, Norman Mailer who had a vivid imagination. He was one of those authors who visualized themselves as well as their works, and on the contrary novelized their country and reality. N. Mailer was a very public person. He revealed his publicity being a novelist, essayist, journalist, playwright, screenwriter, actor and even a film director. Besides one may find lots of his radio and TV interviews. This is one more aspect of his literary work, because his unique feature is a correlation between the art of writing and the media. America is Mailer’s beloved subject. More over his America is an Individual. It is a lifelike image created with all its complexities by means of speculating on real facts and people. In this sense there is another interesting trait of Mailer’s work: through the period analyzed in the book he coped with both fiction and non-fiction. In doing so the writer dramatized the best and the worst of American life by connecting the life of his characters to the life of the nation. And his characters are preeminently illustrious Americans, the symbols of this country. Chronological order of publications is replaced by aspects: history, mythology, imagination. This article describes the possibility of using expert systems (ES) in the framework of interactive electronic technical manuals. Invited to consider the benefits of diagnosis and prognosis of the technical condition of the product for the end user, also evaluate the capabilities of intellectualization accumulation of new declarative and procedural knowledge by experts. This can really enhance the intellectual component of the maintenance of modern and advanced equipment. The comparative analysis of the possibilities ES allowed to formulate requirements to clarify the criteria user requests. The article shows a block diagram of synthesis ES and IETM and its description. Named and described the types of knowledge of the expert system. The purpose of the research is to substantiate the development of integral branch of modern psychology of personality which is defined as personology. The research stresses the need to change dominating analytical approaches to the study of personality for the synthetic approach defined as «science of synthesis». It will reflect multiple ties between different theories and consulting personality models; experience of creating a single semantic space for personality cognition; unity of theoretical, cultural and practical psychology of personality. This triple format of personology is focused on discovery and realization of self-cognition of the personality as well as personality of the personologist being the subject of hermeneutics, theoretical studies and practical activity. The research defines the subject of personology based on positions of synthesis as well as defines the foundation for integration of the personological knowledge, structure of personology, content, method and forms of interaction between cultural, fundamental and consulting psychology.
The The workshop first took place in 2015 as a succession of the Applications of Region Theory (ART) workshop series. After the success of the initial workshop, it is only natural to bring together researchers working on region-based synthesis and process mining again. The ATAED'2016 workshop took place in Torun on June 20-21, 2016 and was a satellite event of both the 37th International Conference on Application and Theory of Petri Nets and Concurrency (Petri Nets 2016) and the 16th International Conference on Application of Concurrency to System Design (ACSD 2016). Papers related to process mining, region theory and other synthesis techniques were presented at ATAED'2016.
The development of evolutionary thinking is under consideration in the article; heuristic possibilities and possible limits for interdisciplinary synthesis of knowledgeare estimated. It is justified that synthetic, integrative and holistic trends – in contrast to disciplinary differentiation of science in the epoch of Modern time – are predominant in science of the XXI century. Evolutionary thinking which is understood in the most broad sense of its word is based nowadays not only on the theory of biological evolution, but also on the modern theory of complex adaptive systems, network science and nonlinear dynamics. Such a thinking becomes a foundation of a new naturalism which allows us to formulate strategies of evolutionary, naturalistic explanations in epistemology, ethics, politics, aesthetics. Taking as an example evolutionary epistemology, the author analyses its modern trends of development and demonstrates how this field meets interdisciplinary challenges of the modern scientific knowledge.
