Business ratings: methodology of Russian construction sector
The manual is intended for students of Department of computer engineering MIEM HSE. In the textbook based on the courses "Economics of firm" and "the development strategy of the organization." Discusses the key conceptual and methodological issues of the theory and practice of Economics and development planning of the organization. The use of textbooks will enable students: to analyze key performance indicators, and use the tools of strategic analysis with reference to concrete situations in contemporary Russian and international business. Special attention is paid to the methods and systems of information support of the life support functions of business organizations and management methodology of innovation and investment. An Appendix contains source data for analysis of competition in a particular industry.
The article familiarizes the reader with key ratings of corporate governance. It is concerned with the goals, specific features and methodology of such ratings as well as the availability of such ratings for Russian companies. The paper gives consideration to both commercial and research ratings. On basis of the analysis of existing ratings and research papers it is concluded that a scientifically substantiated algorithm for a corporate governance rating has not yet been created.
The Bill on amendments to Part II of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation consists of legislation provisions on a new limited interest in land - a right to development. The principal difference between the new model of development and the right to development concept in Russian and foreign treaties and the Concept of civil legislation development is pointed out in the article. Hence, a comparative analysis of the notion, provisions on the right to development entitlement and the correspondence between the right to development and the right to building is conducted by the author. The problems which can rise during the practical realization of the aforementioned model of the right to development are highlighted in the article.
The chapter discussed the problems of the Russia’s economic competitiveness in the booming years prior to 2008 economic crisis. We estimate the competitive advantages and weaknesses, and analyze the contribution of innovations into the growth dynamics pattern.
Peculiarities of making of managerial decisions in modern business systems, predetermined by observation of the basic principles, are shown: constant monitoring of external environment for determining new possibilities and actual problems and determining the need for managerial decisions; founding on materials of marketing research, conduct of marketing communications for informing and supporting loyalty of interested parties in the process of implementation of decisions; and striving for increasing or at least preserving the uniqueness and effectiveness of business system during decision making (criterion of optimality of decisions).
Тhе article is devoted to the analysis of science, education and business as key institutional agents of civil identity in contemporary society. The civil identity is specified as a subject-object interaction between an individual and a state. Also preconditions for diversification of state power in the field of civic identity forming are determined.
