This monograph outlines the basics of the application of design digital modeling of physical processes occurring in electronic means during their operation. Those models are proposed and they are presented in a form that allows them to be used in electronic engineering in the development of electronic means, which are subject to increased reliability requirements. At the same time, the basics of the theory of reliability are also considered, which are brought to such forms that allow effective methods to achieve high practical requirements for the reliability indicators of electronic means. The described methods are unified due, first of all, to the existing analogies between mathematical descriptions of heterogeneous physical processes: electrical, thermal, mechanical, etc. As practice has shown, their implementation is most effective in the early stages of electronic means design with the active use of computer simulation. Therefore, in the monograph, much attention is paid to various types and forms of computer simulation, which makes it possible to carry out electronic means projects with proven high values of reliability indicators before carrying out extremely costly full-scale tests.
