Drawings and photo-illustrations
The aim of the book series is the publication of objects of toreutics and jewellery from Eastern Europe - the territory confined by the Volga in the East and the Danube in the West. Found in archaeological complexes of classical and barbarian cultures, this material is unique by its richness and possibilities of social and historical reconstructions.
There is a publication of the collection of gold and silver objects dated from the 7th c. BC. to the 3rd c. AD. kept in the Krasnodar State Historic-Archaeological Museum-Reserve. The book presents the analysis of the jewellery and toreutic objects which were particularly characteristic for the artistic tradition of the ancient goldsmiths of the Kuban region.
