The annual International Scientific-Practical Conference "Modern Information Technology and IT-Education" is one of the largest Russian research events on the development of new information technologies, the study of the theoretical foundations of computer science, and innovative solutions and standards in the field of training highly professional and scientific personnel for IT and its applications. The conference has more than ten years history, and it takes place regularly since 2005. The Conference contributed significantly to the advancement of the new educational direction "Information Technology" which was created in 2002 upon an initiative of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Moscow State University. Later this educational direction was named as "The fundamental informatics and information technologies."
SITITO allows authors to submit their paper either in English or in Russian. For the papers in Russian the abstracts in English are provided and are placed on the first pages of the papers.
It is shown that the logarithm of the complexity (number of nodes in the decision tree of a branch and bound algorithm) of the individual traveling salesman problem is approximately normally distributed. We use a linear regression model (logarithm of the complexity — standard normal distribution) to estimate parameters of normal distribution, which fit the sample. Borders of the interval, which contains 90% of the sample of the logarithm of the complexity, are also given.
The article is devoted to inclusion of the topic "parallel computing" in the school informatics . Some methodical materials prepared in the course of work on the "Permian version" of a propaedeutic course of computer science (the author team is M.A. Plaksin, N.I. Ivanova, O.L. Rusakova) are described.
The paper discusses the development of the organizational practices in a Russian university under the influence of the environment. In the latter, the key factors are legislation and regulations of the Ministry of education and science. This influence is ambiguous and varies in different aspects, so to understand combined effect one needs detailed analysis using purposebuilt tools. The paper introduces such tool based on ideas of business model canvas by Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur and organizational design theory by Henry Mintzberg. This instrument makes it possible to conduct a system analysis of the organizational design of the university, the integrity of this design and its fit to the environmental conditions. In particular, this analysis shows, how the system of restrictions and stimuli, created by the Ministry of education and science leads to the degradation of education quality in a classic university
