The article describes a model of a software project which uses the information base of Team Foundation Server for registration of the design artifacts as release, tasks, bugs. There is description of actions with the information base during the project implementation and the use of stored therein data for managing process of software implementation, evaluating the success of this process and identifying emerging issues, both during the project and after its completion (at the stage of postmortal analysis).
The overall telecommunication network performance became an important topic, in connection of the overall quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) research. From the other hand, there is a lack of models for prediction of these quantities. Even definitions of overall losses are not clear, e.g. in both expressions are used without clear distinguishing between them: ‘end-to-end blocking’ and ‘overall blocking’, besides, the other types of losses are not considered. In this paper, overall probabilities, overall service times and overall traffic characteristics of an overall telecommunication network with guarantees of services are presented, as well as analytical expressions graphical representations are given. The values of characteristics are graphically presented as functions of the users’ behavior parameters and network technical characteristics in every service stage.
