The article examines the state of management science on the basis of criteria structural functionalist approach. The focus is on one of the basic management disciplines - organizational behavior. The author concludes that the present state of organizational behavior demonstrates degradation of management science. Organizational behavior in the current state claims the synthesis of previously allocated under the organizational and management science disciplines, namely the theory of management and organization theory. But in reality, differentiation and specialization as characteristics of any developed science are lost. In addition, interest in the social nature of the organization is lost too. Without understanding the nature of the organizations management science can not perform predictive function that can make it unnecessary for management practice.
