The materials related to the conspiracy in Calabria of 1599 reveal beyond reasonable doubt that its leader, Tommaso Campanella presented himself as vero messia and future monarcha del mondo. In the article, the problems of historical memory and cultural landscapes are studied on the example of the Soviet Lviv of 1945-1990
The paper deals with the problem of "False, or Anti-Nostalgia" on the Soviet past, which is being often fixed in contemporary Russian criticism and journalism. But such films as "Vysotsky. Thanks for staying alive" and "Legend No 17"(dedicated to the hockey-player Valeri Kharlamov) have no any common ground with nostalgic discourse because they are screened as if there was no split between two historical times. Nothing is lost from the past, moreover, the past is more topical for filmmakers and their potential audience. The past is a source of survival and future victory over the whole world.
