The article describes the concept of corporate social responsibility, advantages, including allocation those fields of business activity, in which it is easier to obtain benefits, and difficulties of development of CSR in Russia. Some results of research of the author over the last 5 years are briefly presented. Also the article discuses a question of estimation of productivity of CSR programs.
This paper covers the interrelationship between international competitiveness and human capital. Human capital is one of the most significant factors of national competitiveness. Its role constantly rises in modern knowledge economy. Education and specific skills of workers considerably determine country’s positions in the world economy. In its turn global competitiveness of national economy ensures the sustainable level of prosperity and high living standards in the long run.
