Objective of the study was to analyze the valid labor code in application to the national sport community and demonstrate that the labor code provisions fully agree with the anti-doping provisions that may be considered an integral part of the athletic labor safety system. The authors applied a range of common and specific research tools (including the dialectical, formal-logic and law application ones) to analyze the valid national athletic labor codes and labor safety provisions – and demonstrate that every doping (i.e. administration of prohibited agents and procedures) case shall be interpreted as the labor code violation. It is acknowledged that the relevant Russian agencies have made progress in the doping control initiatives including the ones to step up the athlete’s responsibility in doping cases – albeit the national legislation is still in need of a special doping control law like the German one. We believe that the Russian law-makers should explore and draw on the German experience to tighten the criminal, administrative and corporate responsibility in doping cases.
Multiannual surveys and tests in training process are critical for the initiatives to profile individual progresses and find ways to maintain high cardiovascular system functionality to timely track potential disorders and assess their immediate and potential effects on health and competitive performance. Such surveys and tests, however, are difficult enough in many organizational and practical aspects, and this might be the reason for the multiannual surveys being so poorly represented in the relevant scientific literature
Objective of the study was to analyze the peculiarities of regional historical sports heritage protection and the attitudes of residents of the region to the preservation of the historical sports heritage. Methods and structure of the study. The study was based on an interdisciplinary approach, which enabled to examine the specified problem from the perspective of history, culturology, and pedagogy; the leading research method was a comparative one (comparative-historical), which made it possible to identify common and specific features of regional sports museums. We conducted a pilot testing of the peculiarities of preservation of the historical sports heritage in the provincial museums of 28 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. A total of 165 physical education teachers and 170 students (future teachers and athletes) were subject to a questionnaire survey to determine their attitudes towards the historical sports heritage, understanding of the necessity of its preservation in the regional museums and the possibility to create a sports museum in Ulyanovsk. Results and conclusions. The authors identified the types of sports museums located in the territory of our country: complex museum centers reflecting the history of sports in the territory, with substantial museum collections, implementing an interactive visitor technology in the exhibition space; museums on the history of sports of a particular region; sports hall of fame museums; museums dedicated to outstanding athletes and their achievements; museums of a particular sport. The study found that athletes and veterans of the sports movement actively participated in the establishment of all sports museums. It was also found that the National Sports Museum (Moscow) provided significant support for the creation of the regional sports museums. The educational research on the attitudes of physical education teachers and students to the historical sports heritage by the method of a questionnaire survey found that, while positive attitudes to the preservation of the historical sports heritage of their region were maintained, the respondents were well informed about it.
Digital education resources being implemented in the academic education systems on the whole and the Physical Education and Sports discipline in particular have been found beneficial for the self-reliant trainings since they offer ample opportunities for the individualized learning models, with the necessary data easily found and digested on a most efficient basis [2, 4]. Distance education technologies are known to facilitate formation of universal competences including the self-management and self-development ones including those in the Physical Education and Sports theory and practice domain
