In this article the main signs of banks’ equity drawing have firstly being observed and systemized. The research was being made by the author on the base of wide regulatory experience and systematical analysis of banks’ failures that took place for the past 20 years.
In comparison with developed countries the innovative activity of Russian manufacturing enterprises, especially small and medium-sized, remains rather low. At the same time, the determinants of industrial enterprises innovative activity in Russia are understudied. In order to identify significant factors of Russian manufacturing enterprises innovative activity, the econometric methods are applied in the paper. The research is based on the last available microdata of Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS) for Russia. The estimated logistic regression model shows that manufacturing enterprises innovative activity depends, on the one hand, on the features of enterprises activity, and, on the other hand, on socio-economic regional characteristics. The obtained results contribute to the development and improvement of measures aimed at stimulating the innovative activity of enterprises, taking into account regional and sectoral features
This article is devoted to the study of the main country development aspects in current conditions. It has been proposed to use the international indices as a tool for analyzing and evaluating the state’s development. The article also shows the necessity of statistical practices applying for the formation of an objective view of the current global processes, their correct perception and interpretation. Particular attention is paid to the selection of the most appropriate international indices and methods for analyzing the selected data set in order to build a development classification map. This map, received on the results of principal component method and cluster analysis, allows to determine the groups of similar developed countries and regions.
The article is devoted to the study of the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) in Russia, analyzed main indicators, trends of their development and structure. Considerable attention is paid to Russia's position in international rankings of competitiveness. Using multivariate classification methods are highlighted in homogeneous groups of regions in terms of ICT development, examines the factors that have a direct influence on the volume of sold goods (works, services) on the basis of orders received on the global information networks.
The vector of development of modern economy is innovation activity. In this regard, the role of higher education institutions as centers of innovation activity of regions and accelerators of the development of the national economy is growing. Currently, innovation processes in universities, their depth, volume and speed of flow are determinants for the economic development of the regions of the country. In this regard, it seems relevant to assess the impact of universities on the innovative development of regions. The purpose of the study was to identify the relationship between the scientific and innovative activities of universities and the level of innovative development of regions (for example, the regions of the Volga Federal District). In the process of analysis of innovative development of regions were used methods of statistical analysis, interregional comparisons and quantitative methods.
Based on the results of the study, the types of regions were determined on the basis of a comprehensive assessment of the relationship between the level of their innovative development and the level of innovation activity of universities located on their territory, recommendations were formulated for improving the management of innovative development of regions for each type.
The study showed a link between the level of innovative development of regions and the level of scientific and innovative activity of universities located on their territory.
The article analyzes the elements of the state program of the Russian Federation “Scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation” from the point of view of achieving the country's development goals for the period up to 2024 and the formation of a single program-target outline. We provide recommendations for clarifying some elements of the state program and formulate proposals for assessing its effectiveness.
