The article deals with the texts and ritual practices related to the veneration of the holy spring "Twelve Springs" in the villages of Bolshye and Malye Rymy, Yurovo, located on the border of the Makaryevsky district of the Kostroma region and the Nizhny Novgorod region. The specificity of the local tradition of these villages is largely due to the proximity to the former Old Believer region. The motives explaining the origin and healing properties of the source, eschatological motives, written forms in ritual practice, the image of the source in naive literature are considered.
