Оценка популярности видов туризма среди российских потребителей

The aim of the paper is the assessment of the popularity of six types of vacation tourism among Russian citizens. The author outlines the definitions of religious, sports, gastronomic, event, cultural and health tourism used in the research, taking into account current trends and classifications based on contextual and diachronic analysis of foreign and domestic scientific literature. The author analyzed the preferences of tourism services consumers and assessed the popularity of the studied types of tourism on a scale from 0 to 5. A map of preferences of various types of tourism was created. Moreover, the author gives some recommendations for the successful promotion and development of the least popular tourism segments.
