Финансирование споров третьей стороной в Объединённых Арабских Эмиратах
This article analyses third-party funding in United Arab Emirates. The author examines the approaches of courts in Mainland, where the principles of shariat are applicable and in free zones (DIFC and ADGM), where the legislation is based on the common-law tradition. In addition, the author also examines one of the cases against United Arab Emirates in investment arbitration. The question whether third-party funding is consistent with the principles of shariat is also analysed.
