Ганс Кельзен: перипетии творческой биографии
In his 2020 book "Hans Kelsen. A Biography of a Jurist," Professor Thomas Olechowski of the University of Vienna attempts to understand how life conditions may have shaped the theoretical ideas and personality of Hans Kelsen in general. This thousand-page monograph is a remarkable synthesis of the research work done in this area. On the one hand, it includes a large stratum of new biographical material that Professor Olekhovsky and his colleagues have collected over 15 years of research: archival sources, interviews with Kelsen's contemporaries, and correspondence. On the other hand, it synthesizes previous studies that have been undertaken in the scholarly literature both on Kelsen's biography and on the analysis of his views.
