Scientists Develop Algorithm for More Reliable Processors in Data Centres
Researchers from HSE MIEM and Samara University have developed the LRF-3D algorithm to automatically bypass idle nodes in three-dimensional networks-on-chip. Thanks to its hierarchical architecture, the algorithm outperforms existing solutions in both speed and path accuracy, improving processor reliability for use in data centres, supercomputers, and AI computing. The source code and test results are publicly available.

Researchers Develop Method for Direct Generation of Regulatory DNA
Researchers at HSE University have developed a model for generating promoters and enhancers—DNA sequences that regulate gene activity. The model works directly with DNA nucleotides, without first transforming them into a continuous numerical representation. This solution could be useful for applications in synthetic biology and gene therapy. The study results were presented at the ICLR 2026 Workshop ‘Generative AI in Genomics (Gen^2): Barriers and Frontiers.’

Процессы групповой динамики в социально-психологическом тренинге формирования команд в организациях

Вестник Омского университета. Серия: Психология. 2021. № 3. С. 30–46.
Zverev D., Stroh W. A.

In the formative experiment, working groups of various types took part in various modules of a specially designed socio-psychological training that actualized various processes of group dynamics. Thus, a method was tested for assessing the socio-psychological parameters of working groups as predictors of group effectiveness. During the training, the authors made the measurements of group cohesion, group unity, as well as the level of consistency of the personality of group members. Statistical testing showed the greatest efficiency of the training modules that simulate the processes of group dynamics characteristic of each type of work group: group identification, group norm-setting, group cohesion, leadership, differentiation of group roles and group decision-making. The research results are methodologically voluable for training specialists in the field of team management.

Hypergraphs from multivariate connectivity: caCOH-based EEG/MEG representation
Vlasenko D., Saranskaia I., Zakharov D., European Physical Journal: Special Topics 2026 P. 1–16
Hypergraphs provide a natural framework for representing neurophysiological interactions distributed across sets of sensors. A key methodological question is how hyperedges should be defined from frequency-resolved electroencephalography/magnetoencephalography (EEG/MEG) data. We demonstrate a construction strategy in which hyperedges are obtained from canonical coherence (caCOH), an extension of coherence that estimates coupling between multidimensional signal spaces. To ...

Functional Brain Connectivity and Musical Training: Insights from EEG Phase Synchronization during Music Perception
A. Radygina, S. Kulikova, Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences 2025 Vol. 95 No. 6 P. 963–970
Musical training has a significant impact on brain organization, leading to functional and structural adaptations that enhance auditory, visual, motor, and cognitive processes. This study investigates how extensive musical training shapes functional brain connectivity by comparing professional musicians and non-musicians. Using EEG phase-locking value (PLV) analysis, we examined neural synchronization across alpha, beta, and gamma frequency ranges during music ...
