Based on a survey of migrants from Kyrgyzstan to Moscow demonstrates that the «ethnic» community consists of «Patriotic-related» and «national» social circle, and that belonging to a particular range associated with different attitudes and behaviors in the host society. If migrants «Patriotic-related» range are characterized by stable settings for achieving status in the sending society, representatives of the «national circle» more focused on life in Moscow, and the use of its resources.
