Оценка эффективности способов резервирования магистрально-модульных источников вторичного электропитания
The paper deals with the issues of ensuring the operational dependability of modular power supply source by applying redundancy of their power channels. The subject of the study is the methods redundancy of power channels in modular power supply source. The purpose of the work is to improve the quality of design of redundant modular power supply source and reduce the cost of ensuring the required level of their dependability during operation. The methods of reliability theory and simulation modeling were used in the work. The analysis of the main ways of redundancy of modular power supply source (active, standby, mixed) and the features of the functioning of power channels in them (time schedules of the channels, changes in the load of the operating channels, channel failures during their switching) is carried out. With the help of a specialized software, that implements the Monte-Carlo method, computational experiments were performed to assess the probability of failure-free operation for various methods redundancy of modular power supply source and the features of the functioning of their power channels. It is shown, that it is impossible to assign in advance the redundancy method that will provide the greatest value of the probability of failure-free operation, since the same method can give both better and worse results compared to other redundancy methods, depending on the features of the operation of power channels. The analysis of the obtained results is carried out, on the basis of which conclusions are drawn about the effectiveness of a particular method of redundancy and recommendations are given for their use, depending on the features of the functioning of power channels.
