Photography is one of the tools used to depict reality, which has entered everyone’s everyday life. On the one hand, photography can be a valuable research tool that allows you to “grasp” certain elements of the surrounding world and introduce them into the field of research. On the other hand, with the help of photography, it is possible to develop significant research skills: observation, the ability to see the unusual in the familiar, to look at the familiar from a new angle, etc. The article presents specific teaching methods that are used in the work of students to develop their research abilities through photography.
