Проявление дуализма модальности при построении аргументации научной статьи
Long-lasting interest in such a phenomenon as argumentation can be justified by its miltifold nature and varied functions. The article studies how modality performs and influences the argumentation process of scholarly articles. Context analysis demonstrates a positive correlation between argumentation cogency and the level of the author’s assertiveness. The classification of modality function and its application can be used in teaching academic writing.
