A comparison of the calculated and experimental polythermal cutting ZrO2-Y2O3 system Zr-Y-O in order to determine the stability of the region fluorite structure of zirconia stabilized with yttrium. X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy studied crystal and local structure mixed oxide powder composition 0,82ZrO2-0,18Y2O3, received isothermal annealing precursor synthesized by precipitation from solutions of salts. Radiographically established education FCC structure of fluorite (Fm3m) in the analyzed samples. A study of the local structure of the Raman spectroscopy revealed the presence of traces of tetragonal phase in mixed oxide powders, having a cubic structure.
