Интеграция немусульман в «османский социум» с использованием реформ в сфере образования в 1839-1876 гг.

The aim of this paper is to examine the ottoman educational system in Tanzimat period through which the Ottoman state attempted to train loyal subjects among non-Muslims and integrate them into the “Ottoman community”. The Ottoman ruling circles believed that loyalty of non-Muslim subject to the Ottoman state could be the guarantor of the territorial integrity of the Ottoman Empire. Using the Armenian Millet as a case study, the paper attempts to demonstrate Non-Muslims' perceptions towards state reforms as well.
