The article is about venture capital fields, it analyzes volume of venture investments dynamics in Russia, European countries and in the USA in the context of different economic industries. The author suggests typology of industries depending on the use of venture capital by comparing their attractiveness, ease of production, nature of activity and type of investor.
The author regards the main principles of an overall method of assessing the investment attractiveness of IT-projects and underlines the diffusion of service-oriented architecture (SOA) at the moment. Among modern works taking SOA into consideration in the framework of the methodology of assessing information systems (IS) economic efficiency, he detaches the approach based on event-driven process chain (EPC) extension.
The innovation business development problems in Russia is considered. It is showed the conditions, which are providing small innovation enterprise activity. The role of venture investment in innovation business development are analyzed.
For the development of technological innovations it is essential to ensure competent and modern commercialization within the framework of balanced business models. Multifactor cluster analysis of business models of contemporary high-technology companies and industries shows that the most effective commercialization emanate in the framework of four basic models. Company's profitability does not depend directly on the level of its technologies, but is determined by the quality of these business models. Besides trends in high-technology industries demonstrate raising segmentation and differentiation of markets and more frequent utilization of value network models.

The book proves the relevance of the developing logistics infrastructure and the formating regional transport and logistics system based on the cluster approach in the Omsk region. Smoking is a problem, bringing signifi cant social and economic costs to Russiansociety. However, ratifi cation of the World health organization Framework conventionon tobacco control makes it possible to improve Russian legislation accordingto the international standards. So, I describe some measures that should be taken bythe Russian authorities in the nearest future, and I examine their effi ciency. By studyingthe international evidence I analyze the impact of the smoke-free areas, advertisementand sponsorship bans, tax increases, etc. on the prevalence of smoking, cigaretteconsumption and some other indicators. I also investigate the obstacles confrontingthe Russian authorities when they introduce new policy measures and the public attitudetowards these measures. I conclude that there is a number of easy-to-implementanti-smoking activities that need no fi nancial resources but only a political will.
One of the most important indicators of company's success is the increase of its value. The article investigates traditional methods of company's value assessment and the evidence that the application of these methods is incorrect in the new stage of economy. So it is necessary to create a new method of valuation based on the new main sources of company's success that is its intellectual capital.
