Родительские роли как фактор развития личностного компонента психологической готовности к родительству
This article considers the problem of the influence of family relationships on the formation and development of the child's personality in childhood. The psychological science has gained sufficient experience in the study of such aspects of parental influence on the child as upbringing styles, types of parental relationship, parental attitude, parental directives, etc. However, the problem caused by the influence of certain specific structures of parental roles on personal characteristics of the child was not given enough attention. In this regard, the task of this published study was to determine the influence of the functional parental roles on the formation of personality characteristics of young girls. In this case, were concerned personal characteristics of respondents who were included in the personal component of psychological readiness for parenthood, along with cognitive-reflective and emotional-behavioral components. To determine the nature of the dependence of respondents’ personality traits , included in the personal component of psychological readiness for parenthood, acting like their parents’ roles were used: "Methods to study self-attitude" by V.V. Stolin and S.R. Panteleev; "The scale of optimism-activity" by G.S. Nikiforov; The test of life sense orientations by D.A. Leontiev and author's method by E.N. Vasilieva and A.V. Orlov "Social family roles" ( a variant of "Parental roles"). For the experimental work were involved 183 women aged 21-22 years old, 5-year students of the Nizhny Novgorod Lobachevsky State University . The analysis of the data identified the most and the least "influential" roles of father/mother, determining the formation of certain personal characteristics of girls. The materials of this article may be used by practicing psychologists, as well as all professionals interested in the issue of the family and parenthood.
