The subject of the article is the study of interaction processes between banks and insurance companies within bancassurance system. The author shows the actuality of bancassurance theme for development of financial sector of Russia’s economy – banking and insurance. The author is describing the features of the bancassurance as a business model an also the features of interaction and influence on the different subjects of economics within the bancassurance system.

In this article is given an analytical comparison of Russian and European bancassurance markets. The material on the types of different kinds of interaction between banks and insurance companies within bancassurance system systematized and compiled.

The author gives the assessment of using the bancassurance model in selling of different kinds of insurance services.

The conclusions given in the article can be used by banks and insurance companies in real life for building different kinds of cooperation and creating  strategies of developing.
