The Invalidity of the 1999 Russia Bombings Conspiracy Theory: Part 2
Following upon a predecessor published a year ago in this journal, this article concludes an investigation into the conspiracy theory regarding the September 1999 Ryazan incident and autumn 1999 apartment bombings. This article demonstrates that hexogen was not (as claimed by the conspiracy theory) actually discovered within sugar sacks at a military base near Ryazan; that FSB Director Patrushev’s acknowledgement of the Ryazan incident as an FSB training exercise does not make sense as a cover-up for the conspiracy, and actually constitutes evidence against the conspiracy theory; that Patrushev's acknowledgement is corroborated by the FSB’s conduct of other exercises; and that the actual attacks of autumn 1999 were clearly carried out by the ChRI. Together, this article and its predecessor uncover and analyze evidence that in totality renders the conspiracy theory essentially impossible.
