Использование источников и типов информации при выборе учреждения дополнительного образования различными группами семей
The article considers parent`s choice of extracurricular educational organizations and its connection with information sources use. The research is based on data retrieved from the surveys of parents whose children attend this kind of organizations. The surveys were carried out in 2013-2014 by National Research University Higher School of Economics in connection with «Yuri Levada Analytical Center». The article focuses on the use of information sources by families that differ in socio-economic characteristics. There are different channels of information for families for decision making about educational organizations. The results of the research can be used for policy makers in education and heads of educational organizations. In the moment our government is creating the conditions for increasing the number of children who involved in state extracurricular activities. It appears that information support for families in the decision making about extracurricular activities for its children is very important.
