The textbook outlines the main approaches to understanding modern economic law, its subject matter and its place in the system of legal disciplines. The concept of economic law as a complex branch of legislation is revealed; the definition of the economic role of the Constitution, and more broadly, economic constitutionalism, is given, which is reflected in the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Russia on financial and economic issues.; At the same time, such topics as the legal regimes of economic activity, the formation of the digital economy, and the legal regulation of the innovative development of economic processes are touched upon. In the framework of the second, revised and expanded edition, taking into account new factors of economic and legal development, the content and structure of the textbook were updated. However, this does not mean that the individual topics (chapters) of the first edition that were not included in the new edition have lost their educational and cognitive significance.
