This article summarizes the results of the research whose main purposes were to determine the demand for various forms of additional vocational training, to identify problem areas in existing model of additional education and to develop recommendations to improve the additional education within the concept of lifelong learning. This article is devoted to the problem of educational institutions interaction and commercial organizations interested in experts in the field of marketing. The relevance of the topic due to the fact that modern society places high demands on the level of higher professional education, and competition among graduates take on an international character. The article reflects the results of the study consists in the analysis of programs of professional retraining marketers in higher education in Nizhny Novgorod.
The paper identifies and describes key stages in the development of business education in Russia, examines regional market of supplementary education, defines its main trends; the paper also presents results of the research on requirements structure among potential consumers of business education in Nizhny Novgorod region; it also analyzes key market players, provides industry analysis of the re-gional market of business education and suggests recommendations for strategic positioning of organizations in the local business education market.
