Трансфер технологий как современная форма международных экономических отношений

The paper deals with transfer of Western technologies into the Soviet forestry concentrating on the area of Karelian Peninsula and Ladoga Karelia in 1953 - 1964. The area was a center in the Nikita Khrushchev`s modernization as there were several large factories which produced pulp and paper. Specialists from the factories were sent to Finland within the Soviet-Finnish cooperation to study Western technologies. In this I examine their activities as well as technologies they brought to the Soviet-Union.
In pursuit of innovational development in electric grid domain of Russian economy the strategy based on import substitution and technology transfer has been chosen. The indispensible element of this strategy is building an efficient system of economic collaboration between the partners. Current research reveals and offers an analysis of the main forms of economic collaboration, the criteria for the assessment of the systems of economic collaboration, as well as the instruments for determining the priorities among those systems. Basing on the results received, the possible strategies of efficient constructing of economic collaboration have been elaborated in order to answer the purpose of innovational development of the economy.
The article is dedicated to the increasing role of BRICS in post-crisis global transformations. It deals with the issue of gradual rooting of BRICS in the system of the international relations. A special attention is given to the potentialities of Russia in BRICS.
