The paper deals with the problem of Soviet-Finnish scientific-technical cooperation in the mid-1950s - mid-1960s as well as the role of specialists who worked in the "new Soviet area" of the Karelian Peninsula and Ladoga Karelia which became a part of the USSR after the Soviet-Finnish war in 1941-1944. The article examies the mechanisms of cooperation between the states as well as it effects on enterprises of the former Finnish territory.
The book «The personal diary of Dr. John Dee» deserves the closest attention of all those who work in the field of history and philosophy of science, history of ideas, cultural studies, as well as the history and theory of esotericism. The central material of the book is personal notes of the famous British mathematician, astrologer, alchemist and philosopher John Dee (1527–1609), in the field of whose scientific interests there was a wide range of different branches of knowledge. The text in Russian is published for the first time and has nothing to do with John Dee’s Enochian diaries, edited by M. Casaubon. In addition, the book includes fragments of the texts by various authors — J. Lysons, B. Stoker, W. Lilly, G. Heppel and others, as well as a lengthy article about John Dee, written by a translator of the diary and applications — Yu. F. Rodichenkov, PhD. It seems that the attention of a reader interested in this topic will also be attracted by a detailed chronology of the life of John Dee.
The book examines two main topics related to the culture of the Spanish Republican exile in the Soviet Union: cultural centers of Spaniards in the USSR and the participation of Spanish exilées in Soviet cultural projects such as the review 'La Literatura Internacional' (later, Literatura Soviética) and the Spanish department of the publishing house Progress, in the period from 1937 until the 70ties. It's the first general study of the culture of the Spanish community in the Soviet Union based on the documents from the Spanish and Russian archives, news papers and journals, and testimonies of the Spanish exilées in the USSR.

The article analyzes the possibilities of the investigation of the Eikhanbaum’s diaries as a historical source. The extant Eikhenbaum’s notebooks are also involved in the corps of the Eikhenbaum’s diaries. The Eikhenbaum’s diaries are suggested to be a kind of the professional science diaries.
In this article, the author examines the social status of a relatively small group of people of Koreans, residing in the territory of the North Caucasus. The author concludes that in the period trom 1937 to 1990-ies Soviet Koreans actively participated in the Soviet state buildiing and along with all the peoples of the USSR held a social gathering place in the community.
