The paper summarizes the outcomes of the Round table "Coaching in Organizations: Theory and Practice", which took place in the framework of the International Conference "Anan'evskie Chteniya - 2014: Psychological Support of Professional Activity" at the Faculty of Psychology, Saint-Petersburg State University. The views of experts with extensive experience of coaching in practice for a number of actual issues and prospects of coaching (including business-coaching) in Russia are presented. Particular attention is paid to the role of psychology in the development of coaching as a new type of professional activity, and the need to attract attention to coaching from the scientific community is emphasized. The authors are confident in the bright future of coaching in Russia: as not only the interest increases in this area, but companies and private customers are increasingly bought coaching sessions for managers and employees.
The article is devoted to the study of the popularity of personal trainings among the population of Russia. The search for the meaning of life and the desire for values of self-expression, which have replaced the values of survival, as well as global transformations, lead to the search for ways to meet the new demands of personal and social life. One way to meet this request is to train on personal development.One way to meet this request is to train on personal development. The article discusses the history of training, the motivation for consuming training services, and the degree of satisfaction with these services. The author made a conclusion about the formation of the market for personal development services, the entrepreneurial activity on which is intensive, and the demand is quite high.

This article analyses the ego-state dynamics of a per- son at different stages of the coaching session. Such a coaching model as GROW is considered. Based on the empirical research results the authors make conclu- sions about the significance of the "Adult" ego-state af- ter the coaching session and the highest expression of the "Child" ego-state at the stage of search for capabilities.
In the article we provided a theoretical and practical analysis of the main factors of personal effectiveness as the ability to achieve the intended results at the lowest cost. We investigated general psychological mechanisms of its formation. The ability to choose the constructive meaning of significant events and phenomena, and maintain optimal emotional background are determined as the basic components of personal effectiveness.
