On the Channel Capacity of an Order Statistics-Based Single-User Reception in a Multiple Access System
P. 101-108.
In what follows an order-statistics based single user reception in a communication system operating under multiuser interference is considered. This paper deals with the problem of finding channel capacity of the channel corresponding to the system under consideration.

We consider an uncoordinated multiple-access system that employs a modulation technique, in which the probability of suppressing the signal sent by a certain user can be considered negligible, to transmit information via a wireless channel (e.g. time hopping (TH) with pulse position modulation (PPM)).This channel can be considered as an A channel (channel without intensity ...

The subject of this book is theory of quantum system presented from information science perspective. The central role is played by the concept of quantum channel and its entropic and information characteristics. Quantum information theory gives a key to understanding elusive phenomena of quantum world and provides a background for development of experimental techniques that ...

This paper addresses the problem of constructing a multiple access sys- tem for a disjunctive vector channel, similar to multiuser channel without intensity information, as described in Chang S.C., Wolf J.K. On the T-User M-Frequency Noiseless Multiple-Access Channels with and without Intensity Information // IEEE Trans. Inform. Theory. 1981. V. 27. No 1. P. 41-48.. ...

In what follows a coded DHA FH OFDMA employing robust reception and concatenated coding construction is considered. The problem of employing Generalized Minimum Distance decoder as an outer code decoder is considered. The effectiveness of the proposed decision is verified by means of simulation. In particular performance of the communication system under intensive mixed interference ...

We study the relation between the unassisted and entanglement-assisted classical capacities $C,C_{ea}$ of entanglement-breaking channels. We argue that the gain of entanglement assistance $C_{ea}/C>1$ generically for measurement channels with \emph{unsharp} observables; in particular for the measurements with pure posterior states the information loss in the entanglement-assisted protocol is zero, resulting in arbitrarily large gain for ...

In this paper, we consider a vector disjunctive channel in which users transmit some binary vectors of
length L. We estimate the capacity of this channel and derive a lower bound on this value. In addition, the
lower bound is calculated both for the case of the Bernoulli distribution and for an arbitrary distribution for
the case when ...

We consider a signal-code construction for a special class of multiple access system over vector-disjunctive channel when users transmit some vector of bits of finite length L. This construction is based on interleaved Reed-Solomon codes with collaborative decoding. The considered methods of encoding and decoding in one hand have acceptable complexity for a wide range ...
