The book is an annotated catalog of Mongolian manuscripts and xylographs stored in the Apartment-Museum of the famous Mongolian philologist academician of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia Ts. Damdinsuren in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. Ts. Damdinsuren was a collector of rare old-written works in the Mongolian language of the XIV-XIX centuries. This is one of the most representative collections in Mongolia. The catalog includes 1110 titles of translations of Buddhist treatises, biographies of Mongolian lamas, works of narrative and ritual literature.
This scientific research is funded by the Federal program “Preparation of faculty and research staff for implementing innovation in Russia” for 2009-2013.
