The monograph is devoted to applications of Medical Tactile Endosurgical Complex (MTEC). MTEC was developed by specialists of Lomonosov Moscow State University and is manufactured by SPA «Splav»; it is intended for modern minimally invasive surgical interventions. The monograph is primarily focused on mathematical approaches to the analysis of instrumental tactile images, especially automated heterogeneity detection (classification homogeneous-heterogeneous) and multiclass classification. Additionally we consider problems of instrumental tactile information preprocessing and experience of practical applications of MTEC in surgery.
