FRUCT is the largest regional cooperation framework between academia and industry in form of open innovations. FRUCT conferences are attended by the representatives of 25 FRUCT member universities from Russia, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Ukraine, India, industrial experts from Qt community, EMC, EIT ICT Labs, Nokia Siemens Networks and a number of guests from other companies and universities.
The paper considers applied scientific aspects of algorithmic and software design of cyber-physical building system (cyber-physical system, CPS). The building's CPS is a basic element of the Smart City IT architecture and represents a set of life support system control devices, communication and computing facilities integrated into the building, which are necessary and sufficient for the implementation of user services. In a building's cyberphysical system, all equipment and subsystems are integrated into a single ecosystem to improve comfort and safety, as well as to reduce operating costs and save resources. The paper investigates the requirements for the building's CPS software. Presented are groups of design patterns, which, in practice, does not only significantly reduce the time to program and configure the CPS elements of the building, but also increases the interoperability of developed information applications. Consideration is given to the algorithms of CPS software under the conditions of the Internet of Things (IoT) application. Using the proposed templates, software developers will be able to quickly form new services, quickly integrate and maintain them. The patterns presented in the study are most effective in the implementation of services to control indoor and outdoor lighting, power loads and electrical appliances, as well as systems such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, security alarm, access control, water leakage control, audio and video equipment. CPS software architecture design templates can be in demand for manufacturers of systems and services of management of private or apartment houses, developers of software systems of automation of commercial real estate objects and state organizations, developers and administrators of software of industrial constructions, objects of agroindustrial complex. The research is carried out within the framework of the priority science development direction of the Perm branch of the National Research University Higher School of Economics "Research of control methods in cyber-physical systems".
Transmission, processing and storage of information in the infrastructure of the Internet of Things are related to the necessity for solving a number of problems in information security. The main difficulty lies in the fact that the infrastructure of the Internet of Things is not homogeneous and contains many different devices, including those with limited computing resources. One of the approaches to solving these problems is to embed additional information into the transmitted and stored digital objects. In this paper we present a review of methods of embedding information in digital data to provide security in the Internet of Things, including methods of steganographic embedding of information and methods for embedding digital watermarks. We reviewed methods of embedding information into digital images, as well as wireless sensor network data, proposed for use in the Internet of Things. In this paper we defined the advantages and disadvantages of individual methods and groups of methods, also we analyzed their applicability for data protection in the Internet of Things. Relevant trends in this field of research have been identified.
WF-IoT 2018, the 4th IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things, is the premier IEEE Forum for the Internet of Things. It is where conference attendees, from around the globe - including research institutes, academia, industry and the public sector -- share their knowledge, expertise and experiences about IoT technologies, applications, economic impacts, and social implications. The 2018 conference theme is Smart Cities & Nations, focusing on the vision of a highly connected society, where people and "things" can interact with each other, to provide new goods, services, infrastructure, and processes that improve the lives of citizens in Smart Cities. This pervasive integration enables intelligent systems, which in turn enriches and enhances the human experience within the emerging and increasingly ubiquitous digital ecosystems. WF-IoT 2018 presents innovations that will influence research and real-world applications for the foreseeable future and transform our world in ways we have yet to imagine. In February 2018, IoT industry leaders, practitioners, researchers, government officials and students are meeting at WF-IoT 2018 in Singapore to foster an exchange of knowledge, to network with innovators, to develop careers, and promote entrepreneurship around the explosive growth and investment in IoT technologies and application areas. The Conference is also designed to be highly interactive and a call to action so that activities during the coming year bring us to WF-IoT 2019 with a sense of progress and accomplishment. Each IEEE World Forum on IoT is, by design, held in a different geographical area. To conduct the most meaningful dialog, the conference strives to bring in attendance, talent, experts, and experience with IoT from around the world. At the same time, each of the World Forums focus on regional and local conditions and pick topics that are important to the region and cross-cutting subjects that are important to IoT and crucial for nurturing and developing the global ecosystem that feeds the virtuous cycle of growth and value to humanity. This year, an aspect of the World Forum is to concentrate on a limited number of Vertical areas that are significant to Asia, the Pacific Region and Singapore. The Verticals represent projects and markets where IoT is seeing significant deployment. The other dimension for the conference is the Topical aspect of IoT addressing technologies, policies, and practices for exploiting opportunities or overcoming barriers for adoption of IoT.
Smoking is a problem, bringing signifi cant social and economic costs to Russiansociety. However, ratifi cation of the World health organization Framework conventionon tobacco control makes it possible to improve Russian legislation accordingto the international standards. So, I describe some measures that should be taken bythe Russian authorities in the nearest future, and I examine their effi ciency. By studyingthe international evidence I analyze the impact of the smoke-free areas, advertisementand sponsorship bans, tax increases, etc. on the prevalence of smoking, cigaretteconsumption and some other indicators. I also investigate the obstacles confrontingthe Russian authorities when they introduce new policy measures and the public attitudetowards these measures. I conclude that there is a number of easy-to-implementanti-smoking activities that need no fi nancial resources but only a political will.
One of the most important indicators of company's success is the increase of its value. The article investigates traditional methods of company's value assessment and the evidence that the application of these methods is incorrect in the new stage of economy. So it is necessary to create a new method of valuation based on the new main sources of company's success that is its intellectual capital.

At present many industries reveal tendency for setting up of vertically integrated companies (VIC) the structure of which unites all technological processes. This tendency proved its efficiency in oil industry where coordination of all successive stages of technological process, namely, oil prospecting and production -oil transportation - oil processing - oil chemistry - oil products and oil chemicals marketing, is necessary. The article considers specific features of introduction of "personnel management" module at enterprises of oil and gas industry.
