The article discusses the history of the origin, formation and the current state of applied psychology in Russia. The authors show the relationship issues of social research and inquiries. The problems of mo$ dern applied psychology is considered by the example of one of its directions — work psychology, orga$ nizational psychology and ergonomics. Obtained typical characteristics of applied psychology, denotes its fundamental role in the development of General Psychology, the leading branches of psychology, marked its prospects.
The article is dedicated to the review of child and adolescents’ gang involvement problem in contemporary studies. The analysis of multiple indicators of gang involvement among adolescents from different countries is also made. Different types of offences carried by gang members in different countries are reviewed. Risk factors of child and adolescent gang involvement are also studied.
Based on the analysis of some actual philosophical and psychological issues in the field of personality’s psychological relations (the issue of the objective necessity of the subject of psychic activity, the source of that activity, and the character and the specificity of this source), the article discusses the methodological premises to the developing a conceptually different view on the self-relation phenomenon in psychology.
The key idea concerns a person’s self-relation as the subject of psychic activity. This suggests the person as the subject of relation to its Self where the Self describes that domain of human being in which the subject and the object of person’s self-referencing treatment exist in psychic life of human being as a totality of all its attributes: physical, mental and psychic, conscious and unconscious, public and private.
To date there are studies on psychological well-being, however the problem of men's attitude toward psychological help still not investigated enough. In the Russian science this problem has not been examined at all. This article first presents the results of the research of the men's attitude to- 163 ward psychological help on the Russian sample. To reach the purposes of the study, the total sample (N = 271, aged 18 to 63, Median = 26, SD = 9) was divided into the main sample of men (N = 148, aged 19 to 63, Median = 30, SD = 9) and into the control sample of women (N = 123, aged 18 to 62, Median = 24, SD = 8). With the aid of the scale of attitude toward psychotherapy was revealed a significant (p = .000) difference between the men's attitude toward psychotherapy (51.96) and women's attitude (59.14) by comparison the means of the t-Student's test. Correlations of the men's attitude to psychotherapy with masculinity, femininity and fully functioning (according to C. Rogers) also were investigated. Additionally, with the help of the t-Student's test, the correlations of the mean values of attitude toward psychotherapy, masculinity and femininity were analyzed in the presence and absence of experience of psychological help-seeking. The analysis of the obtained results allows to state that the men’s attitude to psychotherapy is a complex multifaceted phenomenon. Its study is relevant and requires using of well-thought-out and sensitive methods.
The article reveals the experience of a person's adequate self-relation case study research imple mentation and the conceptualization of its basic empirical outcomes. An aim of the research is to pro cess and develop the reflective practice of helping a person to maintain adequate 'self-relation' with him or herself. The study explores some essential characteristics of a self*relational process: (a) the cohesion of internalised «selfobjects» (thoughts, sensations, images, and desires); (b) the constancy of these 'selfobjects' to the experience of reorganising the self; and (c) the degree to which the 'selfobjects' change in response to changes in circumstances (resilience). Some basic conditions of providing the help and support within the participant's self-relational process are described in terms of the exploration of practitioner's attempts to assist these qualities.
The article justifies perspectives of studying thought genesis on the intersection of psychology of thinking and cultural psychology of personality. The model of features of mature thought is presented based on the synthesis of general psychological ideas of thinking and cultural data of thinking life of the personality. The features include problem orientation, operational complexity and notional richness of the thought. The interpretation of texts as a method of cultural psychology of personality is presented as able to enrich with unique facts and phenomena the psychological approaches to the problem of thinking, expand the cultural genesis context of this problem and expand and individualize psychological approaches to it.
This article presents the results of the study, that devoted to theoretical justification and empirical application of the model of reflective$dialogical relationship I—Other. This relationship realizes in the system of dimensions «between-I-and-Other», «I-in-Other», «Other-in-I» and «I-in-Myself». An idea about the reflexivity and dialogical relationship to the Other and their unity as the conditions for the full «picture» of the relationship is developing. This «picture» is formed in the self$consciousness of the indi$ vidual. The critical possibility of a dialogical realization and a reflexive representation of the relationship to the other person is the relationship «I—loved Other». This relationship is explored by two particular models: the model of dialogical events of the relationship to the Other and the model of the reflexive «focuses» of the relationship I-loved Other. The author’s research interview «I in relationship to the loved Other» was developed that based on the «imposition» of these models. This method make possible to reveal different variants of the reflexive «picture» of love. It is embracing the dimensions of the relationship «I—Other» in different completeness. There variants of rather complete reflective dialogical «picture» of love were empirically founded, that are typical for a large part of respondents studied. Reflexive representation of the love dialogue is considered as the most important aspect of the general humanistic world outlook of the individual.
The problem of the educational environment is in a complex analyzed for the first time from interdisciplinary positions of interaction of reflexive psychology, reflexive pedagogics, refleakmeology in methodological, historical and scientific, theoretical, methodical, organizational and practical aspects. The concept «reflexive the developing educational environment» which makes - with system of other reflexive and scientific concepts - a theoretical basis of development of refletekhnologiya of studying and activization of intellectual and creative and personal and professional development of pupils and teachers as subjects of continuous education is methodologically entered.
