Author presents the main problem in stock management of automotive spare parts – its extremely wide variety of assortment. It is proposed to combine advantages of classic approaches (independent and fully coincident models of stock optimization) within the model of aliquot periods. At the same time separate product groups with similar demand volumes become joint in mutually ordered deliveries, which allows to get the low discrepancies between groups and individual optimums. The method consist of breakdown of products by groups with aliquot order-to-delivery lead time. Author considers the practical example of applying of aliquot periods strategy under the constant demand level. Applied approach allows to decrease costs on 35% vs. the strategy of separate optimization.

The article presents a model of optimization of inventory control strategy in terms of risk in the supply chain enterprises meat industry. On study the approach to the transformation of the model under conditions of uncertainty in the model of risk management by using the method of decision tree. Based on the method of decision tree for the corresponding model in terms of risk determine the optimal strategy, which provides a different attitude to risk.

The article analyzes the role of the natives of former republics of the USSR in the formation of the Russian population. Despite the fact that Russia is second only to the United States, by the number of foreign-born in its population, only a small part of them are real international migrants. Among 11 million people only not more than a third came to Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union and they are not repatriates and members of ethnic groups traditionally resident in Russia. Revealed not only scale of resettlement (relocation), but also migrant stock (the number of migrants) who remain to live in place where they settled after a long time. So the vast majority of immigrants from Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Abkhazia and South Ossetia lives in Russia for more than 10 years continuously, and it is difficult to distinguish them from the locals. Besides that, the article revealed features of the transformation of major socio-demographic characteristics - ethnicity, the age structure, level of education.

Green areas of the city cannot cope with anthropogenic load and need not only maintaining but also significant improving of their condition, which would allow them to implement functions, important for us effectively and to refrain from repetition of the sad experience of the hot 2010-year summer. All this determines the extreme urgency of developing approaches to ensure sustainable development of Moscow

The paper addresses long-term phenological trends for the white birch in the central part of European Russia based on multi-year observations of the beginning of the first leaf emergence phase; end of the leaf-fall phase, and vegetation duration for the period of 1976–2015 (the most intense global warming period). Overall, the current global warming affects the timeline of birch phases; however, geographic differences in phenological reactions have been observed. Plants growing in the northern part of the studied area react more actively to the warming in spring: the first leaf emergence phase begins earlier, and the vegetation lasts longer. In the southern part, the earlier spring ‘awakening’ trend has was not detected (trend was zero), while the vegetation duration trend was lower (less than 2.5 days in 10 years) in comparison with the north. Such diverse birch reactions to exterior temperature changes indicate complex relations between the birch phenology and climate.

The study addresses changes in the phenological characteristics of common beech, common bird cherry, rowan, and linden in the central part of European Russia (ER) on the basis of multiyear observations of the beginning of the first leaves unfolding phase for birches and the flowering phase for bird cherry, mountain ash, and linden in the period since 1976 and until 2015 (the period of most intense warming in modern Russia). Overall, the current climate change affects the phenology of all these species; however, various species demonstrate spatial and calendar differences in their phenological reactions. Bird cherry and rowan do not demonstrate significant trends in their flowering dates (or weak positive values of the linear trend coefficient) in territories located between 52° and 54° N. To the north and south of that area, the value of the coefficient is negative: up to –1.5 days/10 years for wild cherry, and up to and 1.0 days/10 years for rowan. However, for linden, the area of positive values extends northwards to 56° N. The discrepancies in the trends of phenological stages and trends of dates of the stable transition of the air temperature across threshold values close to the phenological stages are 2 – 10 for birch, bird cherry and rowan and up to 8–25 times for linden. A similar correlation has been observed between the phenological trends and sums of active temperatures. This demonstrates the work of adaptation homeostatic mechanisms in the plants in response to the climate change.

The dynamics of the dates of the onset of phenological events such as the arrival of starlings (Sturnus vulgaris L.), the first cuckoo song (Cuculus canorus), the appearance of the first birch leaves (Betula verrucosa Ehrh.), the bird cherry (Padus racemosa Lam.) and the very early flowering of the rowan (Sorbus aucuparia L.) allows us to conclude that there is an increasing trend in the duration of spring, while the duration of the fall season for the period from 1967 to 2010 is practically unchanged. For the beginning of bird cherry flowering, the offset of the trend to earlier dates is more typical for the forest and forest-steppe territories of the Russian Plain, what suggests the connection between climatic parameters. For the appearance of the first birch leaves, the multi-directional trends of the offset of dates is obvious and revealed no dependence on natural conditions and physiographical position. The advanced arrival of starlings and the start of cuckoo song cannot be used as reliable indicators. No reaction to the unique weather conditions was demonstrated by birds. It is possible that the mechanisms of migration of birds are more likely caused by the presence or absence of prey and endogenous biological rhythms.

In the past decades Foresight has been significantly developed as a tool for long-term forecasting in the field of power generation and energy efficiency. Such research aims at investigation of the most promising innovation strategies in this area, identifying various (including alternative) ways to achieve technological and market goals with the participation of best qualified experts. Such Foresight method as Roadmapping is widespread in the world practice. It helps to shape complex and interrelated views on prospects of innovation development in specific areas of energy efficiency, it links R&D programmes with creation of technologies and products, as well as their subsequent commercialization. The paper provides an overview of the world Foresight experience aimed at creating vision of the future and building innovation strategies related to energy efficiency. Special attention is paid to the Russian research practice, in particular to different types of Foresight projects implemented by the specialists of State University - Higher School of Economics. The authors describe the results of main projects dedicated to shape the future of energy-efficient technologies and to develop of innovation strategies on their application.

Differences in the net-migration between regional centers and the periphery, as well as the migration rates dependence on the distance from the centers are analyzed.

The article analyzes population changes in the Russian north-west regions (former North-Western economic zone and Kaliningrad region) and the Baltics at the level of administrative-territorial entity, urban and municipal districts. The method of advancing age allows evaluating interstate and interregional migration. This method is used infrequently, but still it helps to study changes in distribution of a particular group of population rather precisely than current statistics. The article uses the last two census data (2000s and 2010s) - population size, age and gender composition. In order to demonstrate core and periphery relationship the author subdivided the studied administrative-territorial entities into central ones and the rest entities were grouped on the basis of remoteness from the center. The analysis shows that in the studied countries and regions population concentrates in the capitals and adjacent districts, the periphery loses population with high rate. The youth centripetal movement is especially strong; it influences the population structure changes in the core and periphery territories as it deteriorate depopulation and aging processes.
