Author describes the method of stock replenishment spare parts by automotive dealers based on queuning theory. It is presented, that increase in costs from stock deficit of spare parts and decrease in storage costs lead to greater effective stock value to be stored on dealers’ warehouse. Limits in the model are Poisson type of requestes flows and stock replenishment of spare parts by automotive dealers.

The use of gas-turbine plants (GTPs) in the power industry of Russia is analyzed. Attention is paid to microturbines and low-, medium-, high-, and superhigh-power GTPs. The efficiency of the gas-turbine plants of domestic and foreign manufacture is compared. The actual values of the installed capacity utilization factor and the corresponding efficiency values are calculated for most GTPs operating in the country. The long-term demand of the country’s electric power industry for GTPs for the period until 2040 is determined. The estimates have been obtained for three basic applications of the gas turbines, viz., for replacement of the GTPs that have exhausted their lifetime, replacement of outdated gas-turbine plants at gas-and-oilburning power plants, and construction of new thermal power plants to cover the anticipated growing demand for electric power. According to the findings of the research, the main item in the structure of the demand for GTPs will be their use to replace the decommissioned steam-turbine plants, predominantly those integrated into combined-cycle plants. The priority of the reconstruction of the thermal power plants in operation over the construction of new ones is determined by the large excess of accumulated installed capacities in the country and considerable savings on capital costs using production sites with completed infrastructure. It is established that medium- and high-power GTPs will be the most in-demand plants in the electric power industry. The demand for low-power GTPs will increase at high rates. The demand for microturbines is expected to be rather great. The demand for superhigh-power plants will become quantitatively significant after 2025 and grow rapidly afterwards. The necessity of accelerated development of competitive domestic GTPs with a wide range of capacities and mastering of their series manufacture as well as production of licensed gas turbines at a high production localization level on the territory of the country is shown. Considerable home demand for the power-generating GTPs and vast external markets will make the development of efficient domestic GTPs economically viable.

This paper investigated the analysis of Russian and foreign authors' results related to the automation of railway scheduling. It focused on the development of automated planning of subway train schedule; the development of business process models related to automated planning of train schedule; diagrams for the software development; program for the implementation of the automated planning train schedule.

The results showed that the close cooperation between scheduling systems and train traffic control, the requirement of a unified approach for the train scheduling problems and rolling stock maintenance scheduling problems, and the applicability of artificial intelligence algorithms and advances of computer science for solving those problems.

The article performed the decomposition process of data collecting and analyzing of rolling stock turnover and train schedule in three parts: preparation of input data for the automated scheduling; automated planning of rolling stock turnover and train schedule; analyzing the results of automated scheduling system and transmission these results to related services.

The authors proposed to use a software architectural pattern called Mode-View-Controller (MVC) while creating the software tools and showed that its advantages, such as the separation of business logic with visualization for users and developers of the system.

Railway scheduling system can performed with different levels of automation devices. The composition of lower assets means the better tools. The use of design patterns and software modeling language UML (Unified Modeling Language) is effective to describe the interaction with different levels of automation.

Nowadays the initiative work is leading to modernize the operation of the auto­mated train scheduling system based on the principles outlined in this article.

The article is devoted to development of methods of assessment of damage caused by emergency interruption in electrical supply of industrial consumers. The purpose of the study is the substantiation of structure of a direct and indirect damage and working out of an adequate technique of a quantitative assessment of a full damage from caused by electrical supply interrupt of various groups of industrial consumers. The analysis of domestic and foreign methodical approaches to an estimation of the damage caused by breaks in an electrical supply of consumers allowed to prove structure of a full damage. To reach the goal of investigation three groups of techniques are offered in the article. The first methods is based on use of the standard approach and applied to detailed account of components of a damage (a real loss, socially - economic losses, an ecological damage, indirect losses) with reference to the occurred failure. The second technique is based on use of three groups of typical scenarios of consequences of emergency interruption in power supply. Scenarios are generated on the basis of the analysis of the regulation documentation and the statistical data on the basic groups of industrial consumers (on an example of gas supply system - production facilities, transport, storage, reprocessing and auxiliary objects). The third method is based on use of specific indicators taking into account size of disconnected capacity, an interruption duration and duration of restoration of an electrical supply. The second and third techniques are developed for forecasting of a damage and the decision of problems of a substantiation of efficiency of actions for a reliability augmentation of an electrical supply of industrial consumers. The article includes results of assessment of the full damage caused by interruption in an electrical supply with use of developed techniques on example of objects of gas industry. Comparison of the result of assessment with real values of damages from the occurred failures allows to speak about adequacy of the developed techniques. Adequate account of the economic damage caused by breaks in an electrical supply of consumers, allows to raise validity of actions for formation of safe and reliable deliveries of power resources that represents the fundamental factor for maintenance of economic stability of development of the country and its regions.
