Politics and Strategy of the United States, the Russian Federation, and China in the Middle East
The “triangle” of America–China–Russia formed during the Cold War of 1945–1991 still has
a huge impact on modern world politics. And the balance of power within this “triangle” has been determined
and will be determined by the ability of Washington, Moscow, and Beijing to promote their interests in various
regions of the planet. Of course, one of the most important of these regions was, is, and will be the Middle
East, where the economic, geostrategic, and ideological interests of the leading centers of power in the
modern world collide.
