QUO VADIS? ТРАЕКТОРИИ ЦЕННОСТНО-МОТИВАЦИОННОГО РАЗВИТИЯ СОВРЕМЕННОЙ РОССИЙСКОЙ МОЛОДЕЖИ
The article presents a study at examining the development of value-motivational sphere of personality and self-relations of older adolescents and youths (10-11-grade school and colleges students and university students) and the relationships of these personality characteristics to find approaches to understanding the development of mechanisms of their formation in these age groups. The study was conducted during the year 2018. 423 respondents participated, of whom 219 - male (52%), 204 - female (48%). The age of - from 16 years to 21 years. Sample consists of respondents representing all regions of the Russian Federation. The study was conducted using questionnaire “Values PVQ-R” by S. Schwartz and “Questionnaire of self-attitude” by V.V. Stolin, S.R. Pantileev. The analysis of the hierarchy of values and self-relations of contemporary adolescents and youths has been done. Peculiarities of value-motivational orientation and self-relations adolescents and youths in the age aspect are compared. The article size does not allow performing a detailed comparison of our data with data from other studies conducted in the 90's and 2000's. However, along with matching data with them noteworthy reduction orientation to achievement and personal success and increase value orientation on the wellbeing of other people and society are to be allocated. Obtained in the study data indicate difficult ongoing process of formation of identity in contemporary youth. Weak differentiation of motivational aims and their conflict in the semantic field of 21-yearold respondents says about experiencing of the crisis, difficulties in finding targets for development of their own identity. The study found healthy, in general, formation of basic values and their hierarchy of modern Russian youth. However, positive picture of the assessment values, registered us, hide the serious “pain points” of the development of self-awareness of adolescents and young people.
